Parent Groups

OUR ‘Being a Parent’ group provides a safe and non-judgemental space for you to come together with other parents.

Our group leaders are parents trained to help you explore evidence-based strategies and techniques that will make family life run a bit smoother. Being in a group with other parents means everyone can learn from each others experiences whilst reflecting on their own.

Our group leaders will work with you to explore your parenting styles, understanding needs behind behaviour, feelings, setting boundaries, building negotiation skills and other tried and tested tips.

How do I access this?

The groups are between 4 and 8 weeks and each session is approximately 2 hours long. They can either be delivered live online or in person in a location near you. Find out about our Parenting for Wellbeing groups in our blog section

Sign up to our newsletter and we will be in touch with details as they happen.

The Parenting with Cancer Group Coaching Programme

Parenting with Cancer is an 8 week programme where parents meet weekly for 90 minutes to come together and share in relation to parenting and family life when a parent has a cancer diagnosis.

Parenting is hard. Parenting with cancer can feel virtually impossible. It doesn’t matter what your family looks like, or if you are now cancer free, we will help you navigate family life and the challenges parenting throws at you. I have teenagers and they are growing in independence and this course has helped me to recognise when to let them go and when I need to ‘be there’ for them
Parenting is one of the hardest jobs we are expected to do, and with little to no training for
I liked having 2 hours to focus on me and having uninterrupted chats with other parents
