FAQs

  • We know that at least one in four adults experience a diagnosable mental illness in any given year. 10% of children aged 5-16 experience a diagnosable mental health problem, and yet 70% of these young people do not get sufficient help early enough. Evidence tells us that getting support with mental health and wellbeing early significantly impacts the longer term outcomes for individuals and society.

The evidence also tells us that children and young people who experience complex and multiple adversities as they grow up do way better than expected when they have one significant and trusted relationship with an adult! We exist so you can be that adult to your children and the children and young people in your life.

If we can support each other and build our own networks of support we can make a difference to the children and young people in our lives.
